National market and export
Gragnano production is a big firm with a total value of 210 millons of lire on the whole Italian market that shares profits for about 3,317 billons ( from UNIP/2003).
The Italian production of dry pasta is of 2.672.347 tons shared between 1.364.566 the reaches the nationa market and 1.307.780 for the foreign market ( U.S.A. , United Kingdom, Japan, Africa, Canada, Germany). The whole production of the Gragnano partners covers the 4.20% of the National Market with 60 thousand tons and the important 14.12% of the national export with 184 thousands tons.
In 2005 the export producers of the Merger recorded another increasing of the 1.40% thanks also to some agreements with the foreign GDO like the two English big Wal- Mart and Tesco.

Business and employers
On 135 Italian pasta makers which produce dry pasta, 11 are situated in Gragnano and 9 of these are part of the Society. The national attendants are 6.884 and 350 are the workmen employed in nine pasta factories of Gragnano.

Creative draw-plates and original shapes
Among industrial and traditional handcraft draw-plates production, pasta’s shape produced in Gragnano are 140 (short and long). The relationship between short pasta production (65%) and the long one (35%).
